It’s a most interesting year. Aren’t they all?
Covid in January. Tanya, my wife, covid in February. Dr. Leon van Rooyen in our home, speaking in our church, awarding my Doctor of Ministry in March. Trip to Texas seeking the Lord’s direction about moving back to Texas that also was in March to early April.
Listed our home for sale April 22. Open house April 23. I’ll let you know what happens.
In the meantime, God revealed the ministry name to be launched in Texas. It is Eagles Rest Ministry. The web address is available and has been acquired. New email address established. And my friend. General John Furlow, attorney and CPA, is working on our non-profit registration. Oh, and a PO Box rented in Nacogdoches, Texas. I didn’t tell you that is where, it looks like we’re moving?
Nacogdoches. Texas is significant in our history. I met and married Tanya there. I accepted Jesus as my Savior there. Family are still there. We left Nacogdoches 43 years ago. We’ve been back frequently but now moving back, God willing. I’ll keep you updated.
What will we do in Texas? I only know I’ll continue to write and teach and as the Lord directs I’ll speak where I’m invited.
Indeed, a most interesting year.
Howdy, Paul. James Vanderwaal here. I was just sitting here at my computer, taking a break from work, and drinking hot chocolate out of the Starbucks Coffee: Malaysia mug that you gave me back in December 1995 or January 1996, right before my family and I moved to Malaysia for MSS work. We returned to the US in the Fall of 2012 and now live in Minnesota. Blessings on your move back to Texas. You sure have lived many different places.
