I read the following post from Lucas J. Mather on Facebook this morning. The post was dated May 23, 2018. The post continues to add comments. May 2017 was when I left the classroom at Hardin Simmons University for the last time.
Dr. Mather writes, “I seemed to sense the Lord say to me today (Tues (May 2018) before I went into Lost Angeles, when I remembered seeing the empty classroom yesterday, the dark, locked, empty classroom–my classroom–as I was standing outside looking in, trying to get my key to work, as I recalled today that sad feeling I had yesterday, I sensed the
Lord say to me:
You are standing in your classroom. The world is your classroom.
You don’t need that room.
It was very clear. Not very loud. But very clear, and calm.” End quote from Dr. Mather.
A bit later today I wrote, “I sent the following verses to a good friend this morning. As I read over the post I realized it was also for Tanya and me. We moved away from East Texas 43 years ago. Next week we move back. It has been a journey led and directed by God. A journey filled with adventures.
You can read the spiritual aspect of the journey in my books, Climbing Mount Everest, to accomplish your Spiritual Goals, Amazon.com.
Amplified Bible
The steps of a [good and righteous] man (woman – my addition) are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].
Psalms 37:23
And then:
Jeremiah 29,
11‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. 12‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14‘I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
Maybe these verses are for you today.
I love this. Can I look forward To daily messages?
Not daily – periodically. After we are settled, it will be more often.
