Tanya and I are moving slowly the last several days.
We have had a very busy schedule for a number of days now. Actually very busy since this move started the end of March. Our first of three PODs was delivered last week and then unloaded by a Pack & Load team. A cleaning team attacked the new home top to bottom. A power wash company has cleaned the outside of the accumulation of East Texas algae or mold. A handyman showed up yesterday and will tackle a number of projects around the new home. In the meantime we are staying in the home that Tanya and her sister inherited from their mom. Sister Melania and husband JD are away for the summer in their cabin in Alaska. Which works perfectly for us. Our remaining PODs delivery will be middle of July. PODs are backed up and only deliver to Lufkin on Wednesdays.
Eagles Rest Ministry has obtained an EIN and the certificate from the Secretary of State. What else do I need to do? I’m still working on the purpose and/or mission statement. I worked on a draft copy, it’s in my mind, just needs some refinement. We’ve made contact with a number of churches that may have me do some teaching.
We have attended church in Nacogdoches the last three weeks. Mosaic Nacogdoches Church is a merger of two churches. One of the churches was the one Tanya’s mother, Syble, attended. A number of friends we’ve known for many years attended Oak Grove Church. The merger was God ordained. The pastors are excellent. The worship is excellent. We were to have lunch with one of the pastors, however, his wife has Covid. Pray for her and her family.
If you should desire me to teach or preach at your church, home group, or whatever, whenever, contact me through this website. There is a contact link under the menu at top right of this page.
I pray God’s blessings for you dear reader.
I’m happy for you D.D.P. (Dr. Dr. Paul) & Tanya. Sounds like things are coming along. I apologize for not seeing you as we traveled through Texas. We ended up traveling through the very top square missing a large amount of Texas. I’m hoping we will see you in December for graduation.
Missing you both,
Chrystal
